The Government of Ontario provides funding towards basic structures such as staffing, however your donation will support important activities and programs that are not funded by the government, all of which contribute to L’Arche’s unique approach to providing care for adults with intellectual disabilities and fostering community.

More than a job, L’Arche Toronto offers an exceptional and life changing adventure in friendship, self-discovery, and faith.
L’Arche Toronto Volunteers are needed in a variety of situations. Most volunteers choose to develop stable long-term friendships with an individual member or with one of the homes or programs. Others may help in the office or with fundraising projects. Some volunteers help maintain the garden of a house, or catch up on the sewing, or do seasonal cleaning or odd jobs in the homes. A volunteer might cook dinner with a core member once every two weeks.
The L’Arche Toronto community hosts worship on Monday evenings. Worship services are open to the public. These services include Anglican and Roman Catholic Eucharist, common worship, and Taize prayer. The schedule is posted monthly.
