Canada supports affordable housing for people with developmental disabilities in Toronto _

L'Arche Toronto is thrilled to share that we have received a $100,000 donation from The Daniels Corporation  towards our EVERYONE BELONGS capital campaign. The project is currently under construction and will bring our community a fifth home in Regent Park, early next year. Recently, a small group had the opportunity to tour the 4,400 square foot condo unit and take part in the cheque presentation.

EVERYONE BELONGS!  L’ARCHE TORONTO’S CAMPAIGN TO CREATE A PLACE TO LIVE, GATHER AND GROW.  A new model of inclusive community living in Toronto. The campaign will raise $3.8 million to create a more inclusive community in Toronto by opening a condominium home in Regent Park for five individuals with intellectual disabilities and three assistants.

A donation of securities or mutual fund shares is the most efficient way to give charitably since the capital gains tax does not apply. Your security or mutual fund donation means a larger donation for L'Arche Toronto and it also means a larger charitable tax receipt for you. Please call Caroline or use the Canada Helps button above.

You can make a one-time gift, or make a pledge over three to five years using this pledge form.

Cheques made out to L’Arche Toronto Homes Inc. may be mailed to 186 Floyd Avenue, Toronto ON M4J 2J1 Attention: Development
